ElegantPolls uses GeoNames cities500, countryInfo.txt, and admin1CodesASCII.txt data. The source data is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International.

We filter incomplete records; normalize country names and aliases; limit and deduplicate alternate names; and convert, sort, and partition fields into country-specific search files. GeoNames data is provided as is, without warranty. GeoNames does not endorse ElegantPolls.
